I notice the dogs won't go near the rabbits in the long nets when the ferrets on on them in the net Doug mate

The fur would be lovely and thickening up now to for the colder days ahead , get that skinning knife out mate and throw it in a tan , I made a Danial boon hat out fox skins years ago , looked awesome but the skin is really to thin to be using it , the skins make a nice rug though. Oh and good job with the dog , he did an awesome job well done to him.👍

Noise was your issue and dogs all over the place good steady quiet dog and you should stand quiet, rabbits are built to survive

Tip for you I always use to give mine a drink of milk at night . BUT use a tuna tin / cat food tap on the tin then give milk !!! I then took the tin with me if I got stuck up I would tap on the tin . They think there getting a drink and come out

Doug on the cost of your ferrets mate ,there are cheap skates everywhere even on market place on face book ,no matter what you sell at a good price ridiculous people offer a few bucks that is insulting to say the least . Stand your ground as you do , working ferrets are worth every dollar and even if they wanted them just as pets at a pet shop they sell for $100 so I think that person was trying to take the piss out of you , tell him to get knotted and bugger off.

Yet again the great Doug down under fails to disappoint . its fantastic to see the kits working hard the dogs are on form to mate iv just got myself another dog 3 year old ex racing greyhound love watching me dogs run the bunnies don't stand a chance. And your right about prices i let my go for £20 but the work we put in with the breeding and the time you hit the nail right on the head there mate i wont be letting any my kits go cheap anymore .keep the content coming mate love watching you do your thing 👌 👍

The good breeding and bloodline of ferrets. I believe is priceless so like pedigree dogs, ferrets can be worth a lot more than 100 $ or pounds that you ask. A hunting man or woman would know this and would be prepared to pay the asking price whatever that would be because they know about good quality animals. I've had dumb ferrets and I've had brilliant hunting ferrets there's a vast difference. I'd pay for quality and good breeding anyday. You get what you pay for. Keep the videos coming my friend it is good to watch a professional hunter with fine animals at work. You know your stuff so don't let anyone tell you different. Your an outstanding hunter with excellent working animals.

Had the exact same argument with my pig dogs pups. I’d sell for $300 each. At 8 weeks of age. Yes you can pick up mungrel bread town dog for $50. But is it guaranteed to work or their money back 20 yrs of breeding hunting in my line not 1 pup I ever got return on

Those rabbits will never bolt they can year you walking and talking you'll have more killing,s. if you stand on top of the bank and keep quiet they will run into the long nets and the dogs are all over the holes whitch will make the rabbits run backin

gday doug, i used to ferret back in the 60s 70s 80s we used string nets not those long nets you use, we always caught heaps i mean like 40 pair a day easy. btw we call them warrens not burrows, burrow is one hole , have you tried using the string nets?

Do you have any trouble with ferrets not coming back up out of the burrows ?
